Issues Addressed By This Update
The following issues are resolved in rev4:

  • Of the OZ-8000 series of Organizers, only the OZ-8600 has a ToDo application. RuppLynx would attempt to transfer ToDo application data for all of the OZ-8000 Organizer models, causing errors for those that do not have the ToDo application.
  • Data transfer from RuppLynx to Outlook could cause strange characters to be added to the Outlook Pager field, even if no data existed in the Pager field in RuppLynx or Outlook prior to the transfer.
  • PC Data Exchange would not correctly parse name data if the First Name field in RuppLynx contained spaces. This only affected users of OZ-600 and OZ-700 series Organizers.
  • The PC Data Exchange function with Outlook and ACT would not transfer phone numbers correctly unless they were in (###) ###-#### format. Phone numbers in ###-###-#### or any other format could cause duplicate entries.
  • Address information transferred to RuppLynx from ACT was not displayed correctly for Organizers that have only one field for all address information. Each element of the address (address, city, state, and zip) was displayed on a separate line. They are now displayed in standard US mailing label format:
  • address
    city, state zip

  • Work and Home address fields for OZ-600 and OZ-700 series Organizers were not transferred correctly during PC Data Exchange.
  • Import/Export field mapping options for ACT did not include the Work address fields.
  • Phone numbers with extensions in the same field did not transfer correctly into ACT. The phone number now transfers, however the extension is dropped.
